Audio Visual (Audio Visual Companies SA) was founded in 1982, as a Video Film Distribution Company in Greece and Cyprus.
Since then, it has penetrated widely in the entertainment and technology industry as a set of companies covering a wide range of strategic activities (cinema, video, television, amusement parks, technology, etc.)

Acquisition of Power Music as well as Ster Cinemas.

Allou! Fun Park
Acquisition of 42% of Allou Fun Park, the largest theme park in Greece, in Renti.


2005
Entry into new markets
Acquisition of Perspective SA At the same time, the trading of the Company's shares begins under the name Audio and Icon Companies SA, in the Television & Entertainment sector, in the Parallel Market of the Athens Stock Exchange.

2006
Purchase of a majority stake
Acquisition of a 9% stake in Hellenic Amusement Parks Company, raising its stake in the said Subsidiary to 51%.


2011
Purchase of a majority stake
AVE acquires 50% of IGE S.A.

2013
Full acquisition of IGE S.A
AVE is also proceeding with the acquisition of the remaining percentage (50%) of IGE S.A., making the Company a full member of the group.


2015
Purchase of a majority stake
AVE acquires 51% of the shares of Samaras SA.

2016
Establishment of Odeon Entertainment S.A
Odeon Entertainment A.E. The management of the cinemas is transferred from the companies Odeon Cinemas & Ster Cinemas to the new Company.


2017
Acquisition of the share capital of Allou Fun Park
AVE, since December 2017, participates in the share capital of "Allou Fun Park Hellenic Amusement Parks SA" at a rate of 100%.

2019
Acquisition of the Kristelcom Group of Companies
AVE acquires the Kristelcom Group of Companies (Teleunicom SA, Teleunicom Cyprus LTD, Globalsat SA, Globalsat Cyprus LTD). At the same time, the Group is being restructured through mergers.

Sale of Ster Cinemas/Odeon Entertainment, due to divestment plan decision

AVE completed the separation process on 13.04.2021
AVE completed the separation process on 13.04.2021 AVE completed on 13.04.2021 the process of separation and transfer of control of the sector concerning the exploitation of amusement parks "ALLOU FUN PARK" and "KIDOM" operating in Agios Ioannis Rentis Attica to a company outside the control of the AVE Group.


2022
AVE PARTICIPATION LIMITED
On 14.10.2022, the Cypriot company was established, under the name "AVE PARTICIPATION LIMITED" and its main business is, among others, the conduct of business of traders, importers, exporters, commercial agents and resellers of goods of all kinds, processed or raw.

2023
AVE DAIRY INDUSTRY MONOPROSOPI S.A.
On 07.03.2023, the anonymous company was established under the name "AVE DAIRY INDUSTRY MONOPROSSOPI S.A." and the distinctive title "AVE DAIRY INDUSTRY", in which the 100% subsidiary of the Company participates under the name "AVE PARTICIPATION LIMITED" as the sole Shareholder, and with the main object of operations, among others, the purchase and processing of milk of all kinds and the production of dairy and cheese products.
On 30.06.2023, the transfer of Kristelcom Group ltd was completed.
On 30.06.2023 the Group through its 100% subsidiary company AVE PARTICIPATION LTD proceeded to increase its participation in the company Retail & More A.E. at 65%.
AVE acquires the majority of shares of Retail & More S.A. which is active in the Wholesale and Retail trade of Food and other items. Retail & More has taken over the Carrefour Master Franchise in Greece with the aim of relaunching the Carrefour Brand through the operation and development of retail stores with the Carrefour brand as well as the promotion of Carrefour products in the Greek market.
Retail & More SA, through its subsidiary company Retail and More Bulgaria, signs the master franchise agreement with Group Carrefour for Bulgaria in order to further develop its network.
Retail and More SA acquires the company "THEODOSIOS CHOULIOPOULOS EPE ECONOMY MARKET" which has 11 retail outlets in Attica.
